Your students need good systems, but no one has really shown them how to create them. Or what has been tried, isn't working.
Calendars are mostly empty, inboxes are stressful, files are scattered, and important tasks are living in your student's head instead of in a system they trust.
Maybe they are headed to college and want to start strong. Or maybe your student is already in college and tired of feeling behind. Maybe they are still in high school and need better habits before their next step.
The good news is that they do not need a dozen new apps. Your student needs a practical way to use tools they already have access to and are somewhat familiar with.
That is exactly what this course is designed to help them do.

Plan ahead, track responsibilities, and break bigger demands into manageable next steps.

Organize materials, reduce digital clutter, and create systems that make information easier to find and use.

Reduce inbox stress, stay on top of communication, and create better habits around email and follow-through.
What makes this course different:
Students don't just learn about tools. They start using them strategically with guidance.
Live demonstrations that are easy to follow
Real-life examples students can relate to
Built-in work sprints for implementation
Replays for review
Extra support is included
The course also includes 3 private 30-minute Zoom sessions with Joan, making it easier to personalize strategies, troubleshoot problems, and get unstuck.
That extra layer of support can make a big difference for students who need more than information. They need structure, modeling, and help getting started.

"Joan has a way of making things so much easier for me to understand and makes me feel that I am in charge! Rather than telling me what I have to do, she helps me figure out what is best for me and how my brain works. It's so helpful to learn about how tech can support me. I feel much less stressed out!”
All students are welcome, but this course may be especially helpful for students who struggle with organization, time management, remembering deadlines, getting started, or keeping track of digital materials.
Graduated seniors preparing for college
Rising seniors who want to build skills before graduation
Current college students who want stronger systems
Students taking a gap year who want to get organized before their next step
Students who know they need stronger executive functioning systems for school and life
“I used to feel embarrassed and frustrated when I reached out to ask for help with technology, but Joan makes it feel safe and even fun to learn. Every time I attend one of her sessions, I walk away saying, ‘That was great!’ She helps me feel more confident and capable, and I know all her courses will help others feel the same way.”
“Clear, practical, and empowering. This course finally made Google Apps make sense.” ( A participant from Get Going with Google in 2026)
